The public boat launch is located in the 100 block of Jackson Ave. There are three slips available. Boats under 40 feet can be launched. The launch is unrestricted and at your discretion risk. The smaller ship can take off at a faster rate at the end of the concrete dock on Lake Street and Jackson Avenue Pontchartrain.
